Pittsburgh is proud to host the 2018 East Coast Volleyball Championships, 2018 NCAA® Division II and III Women's Volleyball Championships and 2019 NCAA® Division I Women's Volleyball Championships!
Known as the City of Champions, Pittsburgh is also a champion volleyball city. The Greater Pittsburgh Area is home to more than 250 USA Volleyball sanctioned clubs with over 3,000 high school athletes playing volleyball in the Western Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic League. The city finds itself within a 500 mile radius of 58% of all NCAA® women’s volleyball teams, including elite programs such as the University of Pittsburgh, Penn State and Ohio State.
This year, East Coast Volleyball is celebrating its 10th anniversary in Pittsburgh with more than 12,000 athletes playing on 40 courts. The city is also excited to welcome and host the NCAA® Division II and III Women’s Volleyball Championships later this year. Both championships will be played at the A.J. Palumbo Center on Duquesne University’s campus. The Division III Championships will be played Nov. 15-17 and the Division II Championships will take place from Nov. 29-Dec. 1. In 2019, Pittsburgh will host the NCAA® Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship at PPG Paints Arena. Setup as a Final Four format, the championship will take place on Dec. 19-21, 2019.
